Instructor & Leadership Team
Our Instructor’s are some of the finest in the Country. All of them are highly trained Fully Qualified Black Belt Instructor’s. The individuals listed below are responsible for all classes at ACMAC HQ in Balby as well as at our Conisbrough, Bentley, Dunscroft, Rossington, Edlington, Bawtry, Carcroft & Mexborough Academies as well as all Lessons taught in the various Primary & Secondary Schools we teach in throughout Doncaster.
Our Instructor’s are CRB Checked, Insured and First Aider’s and are members of The All Style Martial Arts Association, Self Defence Federation, World Traditional Karate Association GB, Cobra Martial Arts Association & World Kick Boxing Council.
All ACMAC Instructor’s are Black Belts and most are Multi-Disciplined Black Belts, all have started out in Tae Kwon Do or Kick Boxing and are now studying Multi Skilled Martial Arts either working towards there Black Belts or they have already achieved it. As well as their Martial Arts qualifications some of our Instructors are also qualified to teach Self Defence & Fitness. Many of Instructor’s are also current or former World, European, International. British & English Champions in Point Sparring, Light Continuous, Korean Patterns, Weapon Forms, Sport Sword and Submission Grappling.
Above all else our Instructor’s are dedicated Martial Artists hand picked by Master Instructor Andy Crittenden to train as an Instructors and have gone through not only years of training in the Martial Arts but years of Instructor Training too. The ACMAC Instructor’s continue to train and learn from Master Instructor Andy Crittenden, Master Dave Turton (9th Dan Head of ASMAA) and some of the World Class Instructor’s we bring in on seminars like Dave Kovar, Bill “Superfoot” Wallace, Billy Robinson, Royce Gracie, Joe Lewis, Johnny Huskey, Jeff Smith, Drew Neal, Mark Wiley, Tom Callos, Stevie Smith, my original Instructor Master Kim Stones and more.

Master Andy Crittenden - 6th Degree Black Belt Owner, Master Instructor & Chief Examiner Andy Crittenden is the Owner, Master Instructor, Chief Examiner & Head Coach of Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre. He is also the Founder of the Revolution Martial Arts Network, Chief Referee of WTKA GB & Revolution Tournaments, Co-Founder of the National Sport Weapons Association, a Technical Director for The All Styles Martial Arts Association, European Representative for Scientific Wrestling and is a Master Assessor for the Self Defence Federation. He has been training since 1987 and hold Black Belts or Instructor Qualifications in 12 Styles including a 6th Degree Black Belt in Multi Skilled Martial Arts. Andy started training in 1987 and in 1996 began teaching. He opened ACMAC in 2003 and then in 2010 started the expansion from just the Full Time Centre in Balby to opening Schools around Doncaster. Mrs Audrey Parker - 5th Degree Black Belt ACMAC Senior Chief Instructor & Examiner, Edlington School Manager & Balby HQ Instructor Audrey is the Senior Instructor of Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre and the Coach of the Patterns Competition Team and a Grading Examiner. Mrs P has been training for over 15 years and holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, 4th Degree Black Belt in MSMA, 2nd Degree Black Belt in Weapons as well as being a 1st Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate. She is also a Co-Founder and Nunchaku Specialist for TWMA.. Mrs Parker is the WTKA England Team Manager for Tae Kwon Do and is responsible for training and picking a Team for the World & European Championships and the Senior Patterns Judge of the Revolution Tournaments Circuit and is a Nationally respected Judge, Instructor and Patterns Competitor. She is also a Level 1 Self Defence Instructor under the SDF and is a well known and well respected Instructor Nationally. She has been at Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre since day one and is always supportive of all events. She is a rock in the Centre and we are very lucky to have her on our Team. Mrs P has taught with Andy Crittenden since the mid 1990’s at Kim Stones Academy and in particular in their Academy at Woodfield Primary School which produced over 20 Black Belts as an after school activity. |

Mr Craig Oxley - 4th Degree Black Belt ACMAC Senior Instructor & Examiner - Balby HQ Instructor Craig is the Chief Instructor of Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre and holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and 3rd Dan in Multi Skilled Martial Arts. In addition to Tae Kwon Do Craig has done a lot of other training especially in Kick Boxing, Fitness, Acrobatics and many other aspects of training. He is a very well rounded and hard working Martial Artist. Craig has been training since he was a child and as well as Martial Arts he has worked in the Film Industry as a Stuntman. He has trained with many Movie Industry Professional’s and completed the Combat Stunt School at a high level along with former KSTA Instructor Scott Hinds and has worked on various show reels, TV adverts and other media work. Craig is a strict Traditional Instructor. He is an experienced Competitor and National Champio in Point Sparring & Patterns competing all around the Country. He is also a Senior Referee for Point Sparring with WTKA GB & Revolution Tournaments and a Director for the Revolution Martial Arts Network. Craig is also a Level 1 Self Defence Instructor under the Self Defence Federation. |

Mr Kev Miller - 4th Degree Black Belt ACMAC Senior Instructor & Examiner - Balby HQ Instructor Kev is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Kick Boxing and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do & MSMA he achieved his Tae Kwon Do 1st Dan from Grand Master Hee il Cho 9th Dan in 1989. Kev is the Senior Instructor and Examiner as well as being a Head Coach of the Sparring Competition Team.

Miss Lucy Shaw - 2nd Degree Black Belt ACMAC General Manager, Rossington School Manager & Chief Instructor - Balby HQ Instructor As well as being an Instructor Lucy is also the General Manager of Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre and is responsible for the day to day running of the Centre. Lucy is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kick Boxing and is also adding other skills in order to make her into a well rounded Martial Arts Professional. |

Mr Hayden Lindley - 4th Degree Black Belt Bentley & Carcroft School Manager & Chief Instructor - Balby HQ Instructor Hayden started training with Master Instructor Andy Crittenden and Master Kim Stones at the age of 5 years old. He has been involved in the Martial Arts Industry from an early age as his Mum was a full time employee of Kim Stones Academy and his dad was an Instructor there. Hayden is a Professional Instructor in the ACMAC group teaching both at the HQ in Balby and his own students at the Bentley & Carcroft Academies. Hayden is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kick Boxing, Advanced Instructor in the Kids MSMA system and a Level 4 Self Defence Instructor under the Self Defence Federation. He is a Natural Competitor and has represented his Country at the WKC World Championships in Spain in 2011 and domestically has won 13 National Titles (11 in Points Sparring, 1 in Continuous and 1 in Patterns), most recently winning the first ever Revolution Grad Championship Belt, IAKSA British Championships for the 3rd successive year as well as winning the WKC British Title in 2011 & 2012. He also was part of the famous BBSI Demo Team, the team performed all over the UK including the biggest Annual Martial Arts event in the Country SENI. Hayden won ACMAC Instructor of the Year 2011. |

Miss Natalie Loy - 2nd Degree Black Belt Conisbrough & Mexborough School Manager & Chief Instructor - Balby HQ Instructor Natalie is a Professional Instructor in the Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre group teaching both at the HQ in Balby and her own students at the Conisbrough & Mexborough Academies. Nat completed the MACT Instructor program & assisted at Balby HQ by teaching kids classes before taking a position as a Professional Instructor. Nat is an Advanced Instructor in the Kids MSMA system & Level 4 Self Defence Instructor. Nat has been training with Andy Crittenden in Tae Kwon Do at Kim Stones Academy since she was a child and moved to ACMAC when it opened and started training in Kick Boxing and progressed through her grades eventually earning her Black Belt. Natalie won ACMAC's Competitor of the Year Award in 2008. She is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kick Boxing and is a very experienced Light Continuous Fighter. She is amongst the best Female Fighters in the UK and in 2011 won a Bronze Medal at the World Championships and is currently is a 8 time National Champion including being the first ever Revolution Grand Champion. She also went undefeated in 2010 the highlight being winning WAKO’s International Event Judgement Day |

Miss Jess Corish - 4th Degree Black Belt Dunscroft School Manager & Chief Instructor - Balby HQ Instructor Jessica started training with Andy Crittenden and Audrey Parker at their Kim Stones School at Woodfield Primary in 1997 and was one of our first 3 students to join. She is now a Professional Instructor in the ACMAC group teaching both at the HQ in Balby and her own students at the Dunscroft Academy. Jessica won ACMAC’s Competitor of the Year Award in 2006 and Student of the Year Award in 2007 & 2008. Jessica’s main Discipline is Tae Kwon Do and she is a 4th Degree Black Belt. Jessica also holds Dan Grades in Multi Skilled Martial Arts and Kick Boxing. She is also an Advanced Instructor in the Kids MSMA system and a Level 4 Self Defence Instructor with the SDF. Which makes Jess a very well rounded Martial Artist. In 2012 Jess won the WTKA World Championship in Patterns & Weapon Combat and the European Titles in both Patterns & Sport Sword and won a Silver Medal at the 2011 World Championship in Spain and won the 2011 & 2012 WKC British Championships in Korean Patterns. Jess also won the Revolution English Championships in 2009 & 2010 beating some quality opposition with her excellent display of Traditional Tae Kwon Do. She is an 11 time National Champion. |

Mr Jordan Rowe - 2nd Degree Black Belt Bawtry Chief Instructor - Balby HQ Instructor Jordan has been training in the Martial Arts from an early age starting out like most of the Instructor’s at Kim Stones Academy with Andy Crittenden and holds 2nd Dan in Kick Boxing, Tae Kwon Do and Multi Skilled Martial Arts and a 1st Dan Black abelt in Ju-Jitsu under Dave Turton, he was awarded a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Royce Gracie and is a Level 1 Self Defence Instructor with the Self Defence Federation. Jordan also has a strong background in Mixed Martial Arts and has fought many UFC style MMA Bouts in both a Cage and a Ring. Jordan won Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre’s Student of the Year Award in 2005. Jordan has also competed in Grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Point Sparring & Light Continuous and won National Championships in Submission Grappling amongst other local Competitions in most styles he has competed in. He has trained with the likes of Billy Robinson, Dave Kovar, Chuck Liddell, Royce Gracie, Kim Stones, Dave Turton, Trevor Roberts, Johnny Huskey & Marcelo Brigadeiro. Jordan teaches Grappling classes to both Kids and Adults and covers other classes at ACMAC HQ when he is needed. |

Mr Liam Wilkinson - 2nd Degree Black Belt Dunscroft Chief Instructor - Balby HQ Instructor Liam has been training at ACMAC since day 1 and was 1 of the original Tae Kwon Do Black Belts in 2006. Although he was studying for his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do Liam also found time to train and excel in Mixed Martial Arts, Ju-Jitsu & Grappling. Liam is also an Advanced Instructor in the Kids MSMA System. Liam also helped out and taught classes at an early age and showed maturity beyond his years. Liam came back to training as an Adult and began assisting at Balby and Dunscroft, he qualified as a Full Instructor in 2011 he is a great asset to the team. Liam won Leadership Student of the Year 2011. Liam is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and training in MSMA & Kick Boxing. In 2012 he won the World Title in Weapon Combat & European Title in Sport Sword and won 3 National Titles 2 in Weapon Forms and 1 in Sport Sword. He also competes in Points and is a North of England Champion. Liam excels in all aspects of Weapons Training and has become one of the leading Instructors in this area including teaching the Sports Weapon class and is a Serrada Escrima Instructor under Mark Wiley. |

Mr Darrell Frizzell - 2nd Degree Black Belt ACMAC Black Belt Cycle Coach - Balby HQ Instructor
Darrell is a shining example of what an Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre Student, Black Belt and Instructor should be. He always trains hard, leads by example, he is well rounded and always supports ACMAC in every way. Darrell holds 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, 1st Degree Black Belt in Multi Skilled Martial Arts and has graded in Kick Boxing. He has experience in Weapons Training and Grappling so that makes him a very well rounded Martial Artist. He started training shortly after ACMAC opened after his children Jade and Brandon started, both of who also achieved Black Belt. In 2006 he won the CMAA National Title in Light Continuous. Darrell is responsible for the Fitness Training of the Black Belt Cycle Students and also teaches Fitness Kick Boxing classes and assists in other classes wherever possible. Darrell won Andy Crittenden’s Martial Arts Centre’s Student of the Year Award in 2006 and Black Belt of the Year Award in 2010. |

Mr Terry Fox - 2nd Degree Black Belt ACMAC Black Belt Cycle Coach - Balby HQ Instructor Terry is the factory cat of ACMAC and is always around to help anyone who needs it. He is a very well respected member of the school and is always around to help anyone who needs. He is also seen on almost every event that we run and is always the first to volunteer when anything needs doing at ACMAC. He is a 2nd Dan in Kick Boxing and a 1st Dan in Multi Skilled Martial Arts. He specialises in Weapons and excels with the Kama's amongst other Weapons and also has a back ground in Gymnastics which makes him very well rounded.

Mr David Colley - 3rd Degree Black Belt Bawtry & Blaxton School Manager & Chief Instructor - Balby HQ Instructor David is a Trainee Instructor at ACMAC. He works closely with our Professional Team during our weekly Staff Training sessions. He moved to us around 3 years ago to take his training to the next level after 10 years training in his previous club. David is an Advanced Instructor in the Kids MSMA system. ACMAC’s goal is for David to 1 day become a Full Instructor. |

Mr Jon Glarvey - 1st Degree Black Belt SDF (2nd Dan Karate) Balby HQ SDF Instructor Jon is one of the Instructor's responsible teaching the Friday SDF class as well covering for Andy Crittenden on a Wednesday if he is ever away. He is also a positive role model for all other SDF Students. Jon is a very well rounded Martial Artist. He is a Karate Black Belt and runs Rawcon Karate Club which is a member of ASMAA-SDF. He is one of a handful of people to have achieved his Black Belt in SDF Modern Street Combat and is working his way towards his Black Belt in Kick Boxing too. He also has skills in Weapons & Grappling and has competed in Revolution Tournaments in both Sparring & Forms. This makes him very well rounded. |

Mrs Kelly Ashbridge - 1st Degree Black Belt Balby HQ Assistant Instructor Kelly is a 1st Degree Black Belt in Kick Boxing who started after watching her son Coeran for a couple of years. Kelly is a great asset to our team, she has taught Little Dragons & Beginner Kids classes when the regular Instructor hasnt been there and she has always done a great job. She has a great raport with the students young and old. She is well on her way to being a Full Instructor one day. She is one of the leaders of the group on the Instructor Boot Camps. Kelly is also an avid Competitor and is the Yorkshire Champion and fought for the English Title at the 2012 Revolution Fight Night. |

Mrs Alison Bramall - Black Belt Cycle Student Rossington Assistant Instructor Alison is currently on her Cycle Training towards her 1st Degree Black Belt in Kick Boxing. She started training with Lucy & Rebecca Shaw but had some time out so didnt grade with them but she is now closing in on her goal of Black Belts. She splits her training between Rossington Academy and HQ in Balby. When the Rosington Academy opened she started helping out in the kids classes straight away and has become a massive asset to Miss Shaw when she helps out. Alison attends Instructor Boot Camps regularly and helps lead the group. |

Associated Instructors We are lucky to have some very high level Martial Arts Instructors associated to ACMAC, they make great training partners and teach the occasional class. Mr Stuart Wade - Associated Instructor - 4th Degree Black Belt Stuart is a 4 time World Champion in Tae Kwon Do Patterns and Light Continuous, he was graded at ACMAC to 4th Dan TKD & 2nd Dan in Kick Boxing. He is one of the best forms competitors in the world. Mr Craig Ford - Associated Instructor - 3rd Degree Black Belt Craig has been a student of Andy Crittenden's for over 15 years and holds 3 Black Belts, he has competed many times in Mixed Martial Arts & K1 Kick Boxing on shows filmed for TV and DVDs. Mr Steve Cox - Associated Instructor - 4th Degree Black Belt Steve and Andy Crittenden trained together as Children, he is a 2 time World Champion and has competed all over the world. He is a valuabe addition to the team with years of experience running his own clubs. |

Trainee Instructors A Trainee Instructor is someone usually who has helped out for over 2 years and is capable of running a warm up, teaching a small group or sometimes in the case of an adult a full class. Tia Rowe - Trainee Instructor at Balby HQ - 1st Degree Black Belt Tia is a great assistant in class & works on reception. She is a European Champion & 4x National Champion. Cieran Ashbridge - Trainee Instructor at Balby HQ & Edlington Academy - 1st Degree Black Belt Cieran is a great Assistant in Kids classes in Balby & at Edlington for Mrs P. He is graded in 3 styles at ACMAC Stefan Johnson - Trainee Instructor at Balby HQ - Brown Belt/Black Stripe Stefan is a very knowledgeable Martial Artist who assists when he can. He is also doing his SDF Diploma's. Adam Cooper - Trainee Instructor at Balby, Conisbrough & Mexborough - 1st Degree Black Belt Adam is one of early Black Belts and has become a great assistant across our network of Schools. |

Storm Instructor Assistants A Storm Instructor Assistant is someone who has been assisting in classes for over a year and is enrolled on the Instructor Program Ellie Saxton - Storm Team at Conisbrough & Mexborough - Cycle Belt (1st Dan TKD) Ellie helps out Miss Loy in her classes, shes a great competitor and all round Martial Artists. Jack Malone - Storm Team at Balby HQ - 1st Degree Black Belt Jack has been assisting in classes now for over a year and is a 1st Degree Black Belt. |

Leadership Team Leadership Team members are ACMAC Students enrolled on the Instructor program. They attend monthly Instructor Boot Camps and Assist in classes. This is the first step to becoming a fully qualified Instructor.
